What is a semi delivery?

Most large equipment, like electric meat saws and grinders are too large or heavy to ship with traditional carriers like UPS and FedEx. These items ship by semi (on a pallet) to your business. Frequent damage with UPS and FedEx can also be a reason an item ships by semi. In some rare instances, your delivery location may be close to a fulfillment center and we may decide to ship your ground instead of freight. Pick-up may be available in your area, contact us for more information.

Do you charge fee's?

We do our best to provide you the best semi (LTL) shipping rates. We negotiate with our carriers and pass the savings onto you! Our website provides shipping rates delivering to a business address without a lift gate. A forklift or loading dock is required on-site at the time of delivery.

If you need additional services such as: business lift gate, residential delivery or inside delivery; contact us for a pro forma quote.

Farms, Ranches, Military Bases & Hospitals: These locations are considered limited access or agricultural and delivery pricing may vary. If you fall in this category, please contact us prior to purchase so we can verify your shipping location. Customers typically pick-up at nearest hub if applicable in these cases for about the same price as standard business.

What to Expect with Semi Deliveries

Delivery Process:

Once your order is submitted and successfully paid for, our team will palletize your order and call out a truck. Your equipment will be delivered curbside. Please ensure someone is available to receive the shipment over 18 years of age.

We utilize a network of carriers, so we cannot guarantee a specific carrier for any deliveries.

Inspection Guidelines:

REQUIRED Upon delivery, inspect the packaging for any visible punctures before signing the delivery receipt. Good practice to photograph before you open. Drivers will allow time for you to quickly inspect your shipment.

REQUIRED If punctures or damage is found, take photographs and note "punctures in wrapping" or "box missing" etc. on the delivery receipt and contact customer service immediately.

Open the package and inspect the equipment immediately. Report any concealed damage promptly. Photograph and documenting everything is key to winning the claim against the carrier.
