Angle guides are designed for sharpening knives with either thin (Angle Guide 1) or thick (Angle Guide 2) edges, ensuring a sharper and more durable result than many knives available on the market. The unit includes protective belt covers to reduce wear and prevent damage, along with easy-to-clean debris trays for hassle-free maintenance. A front-mounted switch prevents liquid or water intrusion, while a hand screw on the upper cover makes removal simple. The metal guards on the upper cover protect against cuts during sharpening. This sharpening system allows for precise sharpening from the heel to the bolster of the blade, even accommodating carbon steel knives. Built with protecting irons to safeguard the plastic body from sparks during use, this sharpener is compatible with belts from KE-280 and KE-3000 models. It comes pre-equipped with fine-grade sharpening belts for immediate use. Replacement belts are available in coarse (SC-02A), medium (SC-02B), and fine (SC-02C) grit options, as well as replacement belts with wheels (GR-2185A, GR-2185B, GR-2185C). The unit operates at a wheel speed of 2,500 RPM with a torque of 3,000 G.C.M. and supports both 110-120V and 220-240V power inputs. CE and UL certifications guarantee safety and performance. Comparable to Mastergrade and an enhanced version of the Nirey KE-280, this sharpening tool is a professional-grade solution ready to meet demanding sharpening needs.
