ALFA's NSF-Approved VS-888 Housing, Door, and Pusher Plate Set form the core components for creating a GS-12 Grater/Shredder or VS-12 Vegetable Slicer power attachment. Designed for use on the power hubs of mixers, choppers, and power drives, this set is constructed from heavy-gauge polished aluminum and features hardened shafts machined to close tolerances for superior performance. Compatible with size #12 Hobart power hubs (with a #22 version also available), the VS-888 set is an excellent aftermarket alternative to Hobart's VS9. It fits Classic Hobart, Legacy Hobart, Globe, Univex, Varimixer, Precision, Thunderbird, and Intedge mixers. Easy to disassemble and clean, the unit is hand-wash only to avoid damage, as dishwasher use may seize the components and void the 6-month warranty.
