The ALFA NSF-Approved GS-12 Grater-Shredder is a top-quality aftermarket alternative to the Hobart VS9, designed for use on the power hub of mixers, choppers, and power drives. This versatile unit includes a housing, door, pusher plate, and disk holder with a 3/16" shredder plate. Additional shredder plates are available in six Taiwanese sizes and eight premier German sizes to suit various grating needs. Constructed from heavy-gauge polished aluminum, the GS-12 is durable and fits standard #12 and Hobart-compatible #12 power hubs (a #22 version is also available). Featuring hardened shafts machined to close tolerances, the GS-12 ensures superior performance. Easy to disassemble and clean, it is compatible with Classic Hobart, Legacy Hobart, Globe, Univex, Varimixer, Precision, Thunderbird, and Intedge mixers. For added versatility, the GS-12 can convert to a VS-12 by swapping the VS-12DH Disk Holder with ALFA's VS-12KDS Slicer Knife Assembly. Backed by a 6-month warranty, this unit must be hand-washed to prevent damage, as dishwasher use may seize the unit and void the warranty.
